English Community

History ：

The English Mass in Holy Family Catholic Church started in 1997. when it was added to the schedule of Sunday Mass. Today, the English Mass international community is a vibrant community with members and visitors hailing from many nationalities, from all walks of life seeking to walk with the Lord. Through Providence, they find a home in Taiwan and in Holy Family Church. Every Sunday after the English Mass, a welcoming Coffee Break is served, where people can meet and greet one another and good friendships are formed. The English Mass choir also performs at the annual parish Pentecost fair and sings Christmas carols at various locations during Advent, sharing with all around the joy the Christ Child brings.

Moreover, the international community hosts spiritual recollections, talks on various faith topics, and pilgrimages held in English. Regular Bible Studies in English are also held and hosted by the Spirit’us Youth Group from the international community.

Every year a community outing is organized in which community members have a fun day together. Through mutual support for one another in life and in the faith, the international community is a welcoming community to all.
